La Fornace de' Medici is a project born with the purpose of creating a place where Tuscan excellences take center stage inside a suggestive ancient building of 1500. The menu is the result of the wise processing of raw materials selected in eight years of research, and its essence is rooted in the quality of the ingredients and the methodologies and techniques used to enhance the flavors.

Our Wine Cellar
The pride of the restaurant is definitely the wine list, which is the result of a long research carried out with the intent to let our guest know rare bottle produced by emerging Tuscan wineries.
The proposal ranges from a selection of all the main DOC e DOCG of Tuscany; the tasting of these wines is enhances in our tasting menu where food and wines are paired carefully.

The Farm
La Fornace de' Medici, located just outside Mugello, is the beating heart of our organic farm and our identity, here we we grow ancient Verna and Sieve grains, vegetables from our vegetable garden, potatoes, spelt and olives. Inside the property there is also a private hunting reserve. The pasta is homemade with our Verna wheat, the game is km zero, the vegetables follow the seasonality of the garden and the olive grove frames the surrounding hills.
